Senior Designer

A Chicago native, Stephen received his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Architecture from Miami University in Oxford, OH. In his 6 years of professional experience, Stephen has worked on both residential and commercial projects, and has been featured in Modern Luxury Interiors, LUXE Magazine, Apartment Therapy, & on NBC’s Open House series. In 2015 he received the prestigious Ones To Watch award presented by the Chicago Merchandise Mart Design Center showrooms. Stephen is a versatile designer capable of all styles from traditional to contemporary, but always finds a way to make each project uniquely personal.

What’s your personal design style?
  • I love clean lines, neutral earthy colors and textures, and black everything! I’m a minimalist at heart, but a maximalist in style.
What would be your dream project?
  • I’d love to design a large LA modern boho beach house, with an amazing outdoor shower!
What fuels your creativity outside the office?
  • Travel and social media are my biggest creative sources. I love being informed about world designs and what other creative peers are working on.
Favorite Project:
  • Our Walnut Street Dining Room is currently my favorite project. We used hair-on-hide wallcovering from Kyle Bunting, a hand-blown glass chandelier by Allison Berger, and custom embroidered window treatments from Holland & Sherry that were just to die for!
