Summer Internship

Kaufman Segal Design is currently seeking an interior design student for a part time paid internship for the summer of 2016.

Ideal candidate will have experience in AutoCAD, Photoshop and MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook). Familiarity with furniture and fabric vendors at the mart a huge plus!

Associate Designer

We are currently accepting resumes for an experienced interior designer to work as assistant to principal designers. The position involves, but is not limited to, handling client relations, on-site construction management, preparation of client proposals and budgets, preparing construction documents, assisting with selection of furnishings, scheduling and being present at installations, Auto Cad and manual drawings, obtaining quotations from vendors, and various administrative tasks. If contacted for an interview, candidate will be expected to present examples of construction documents they have previously worked. Ideal candidate should have a degree in Interior Design or related field, at least 5 years of residential design experience, be very detail orientated, and possess the ability to multi-task in a busy work environment. Time management skills, a great attitude and a proactive work style are a must. You should have the ability to work efficiently and independently, as well as part of a team. Must be proficient in AutoCAD, and MS Office (Word, Excel). StudioIT, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat & InDesign are preferred, but not necessary.
